MAIZE SUMMER BOOKMOBILE KEEPS STUDENTS READING
Thanks to a $3,200 grant from the Maize Education Foundation, the Maize USD Bookmobile made the dog days of summer a little more bearable with a variety of new books for students to check out at various stops in the Maize district. Whether the stop was at the Maize Recreation Fun Factory, WalMart or poolside at Fossil Rim, the students were very excited to see the bus roll up for them to hop on board to check out books each week during the month of July. Next year’s plans include reading incentives and contests and an increased number of neighborhood stops.  To learn more about how you can help support projects like the Maize Bookmobile, contact the Maize Education Foundation at info@maizefoundation.org.
